In neoclassicistische trant uitgevoerd TOEGANGSHEK tot de Eerste Algemene Begraafplaats 'Soestbergen' uit 1830, bestaande uit twee hardstenen, aan de straatzijde van inscripties voorziene pijlers met plint met vierkante schacht (voorzien van bijbeltekst) en tombevormige bekroning met vlakke frontons en acroteria (voorzien van begraafplaatsnaam), en twee gietijzeren draaihekwerken met een herhaald motief van omgekeerde toortsen.
Waardering
Toegangshek van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als karakteristiek voorbeeld van Neo-classicisme en tevens vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van de begraafplaats 'Soestbergen'.

Access gate to the Eerste Algemene Begraafplaats 'Soestbergen' executed in neoclassical style from 1830, consisting of two hard stone pillars with plinth provided with inscriptions on the street side, with square shaft (provided with biblical text) and tomb-shaped coping with flat pediments and acroteria (provided with cemetery name), and two cast iron swing gates with a repeated motif of inverted torches.

Access gate of general importance due to its architectural-historical value as a characteristic example of Neoclassicism and also due to its funerary-historical value as part of the cemetery 'Soestbergen'.
