In de negentiende eeuw gebouwd éénlaags BAARHUIS, uitgevoerd in traditioneel- ambachtelijke trant, op rechthoekige plattegrond.
Pand van drie traveeën, geheel opgetrokken in baksteen op hardstenen plint onder met donkergrijze pannen gedekt zadeldak tussen tuitgevels met uitkragende schouderstukken. Voorts hebben de kopgevels boogvormige blindnissen met aan de zuidzijde een tweede boogvormige blindnis waarin een stel dubbele deuren en ter weerszijden twee gietijzeren luchtroosters. Aan de noordzijde een getoogde deur. In de lange zijgevels elk drie met uitkragende lijsten recht afgesloten spaarnissen, waarin in oorsprong alle getoogde bovenlichten.

Karakteristiek negentiende-eeuws baarhuis van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde en vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de begraafplaats Soestbergen.

Built in the nineteenth century single-storey MORTUARY CHAPEL, executed in traditional craft manner, on a rectangular plan.
Building of three bays, entirely constructed in brick on a sandstone plinth under dark grey tile-covered gabled roof between spout gables with projecting shoulder pieces. Furthermore the gable ends have arched blind niches with on the south side a second arched blind niche containing a set of double doors and on either side two cast-iron air vents. On the north side an arched door. In the long side facades each three blind recesses with projecting lintels, right-finished, in which originally all arched fanlights.
Valuation
Characteristic nineteenth-century mortuary chapel of general importance by virtue of its cultural-historical value and by virtue of its funerary-historical value as a historical-functional component of the Soestbergen cemetery.
