Omschrijving
Eenvoudig GRAFMONUMENT (vak 9, grafnr 35) voor Nicolaas Beets, schrijver/dichter, overleden 13 maart 1903, bestaande uit twee liggende stenen met op beide stenen een metalen boeket met ondermeer papavers, palmtak, eikenblad en eikels. Voorts op de eerste steen in verheven schrift: "God is mijn licht" en op tweede steen in verheven letters "Salus. Mea. Christus"
Waardering
Grafmonument van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als herinnering aan de schrijver/dichter Nicolaas Beets. Tevens vanwege de kunsthistorische waarde als voorbeeld van karakteristieke grafkunst en vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van de begraafplaats 'Soestbergen'.

Simple GRAVE MONUMENT (plot 9, grave no. 35) for Nicolaas Beets, writer/poet, died 13 March 1903, consisting of two recumbent stones with on both stones a metal bouquet with among other things poppies, palm branch, oak leaf and acorns. Furthermore on the first stone in raised script: "God is mijn licht" and on second stone in raised letters "Salus. Mea. Christus"
