Omschrijving
Door sierlijk gesmeed voetinghek met hardstenen platen en gebeeldhouwde pijlers omsloten GRAF van de familie van Son (vak 10b, grafnummer 1B) blijkens inscriptie in de staande steen, uitgevoerd in gotische letter, voor de familie Van Son. De hardstenen stèle bevat voorts ondermeer een driepas-motief in een gezwenkte spitsboog en een keperboogvormige bekroning met reliëf en te weerszijden schuine afdekplaten. Voor de stèle een eenvoudige tombe met inscriptie. Links hiervan nog een eenvoudige stèle met inscriptie. Tekst op de liggende steen, in cursief :" De Heere heeft gegeven, en de Heere heeft genomen, de naam des Heeren zij geloofd ! Job 1.21/ Zalig zijn de dooden,/ die in den Heere sterven. Openb: XIV. 13/ Want het leven is mij Christus/ en het sterven is mij gewin. Fil. Grave of the Van Son family (plot 10b, grave number 1B) enclosed by an elegantly wrought foot-railing with hard stone slabs and sculptured pillars, evidenced by inscription in the standing stone, executed in gothic lettering, for the Van Son family. The hard stone stele furthermore contains among other things a trefoil motif in a curved pointed arch and a raftered arch-shaped coping with relief and sloping coping slabs on either side. In front of the stele a simple tomb with inscription. To the left of this another simple stele with inscription. Text on the lying stone, in italic: "The Lord hath given, and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord! Job 1.21/ Blessed are the dead,/ who die in the Lord.
