Omschrijving
GRAFMONUMENT uitgevoerd in Art-Deco-stijl. Het grafmonument bestaat uit een lage, staande steen met tekst, verheven daarop aangebracht "Jan Quast Hzn 1852-1929/ predikant bij de ned. herv. gem. te Utrecht van 1888-1929". Voorts liggende steen, met een brede rand van gestapelde stenen.
Waardering
Grafmonument van algemeen belang vanwege de architectonische waarde als voorbeeld van Art Déco en vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van de begraafplaats Kovelswade.

GRAVE MONUMENT executed in Art Deco style. The grave monument consists of a low, standing stone with text, raised thereon "Jan Quast Hzn 1852-1929 / minister at the Dutch reformed congregation in Utrecht from 1888-1929". Furthermore lying stone, with a broad edge of stacked stones.
Valuation
Grave monument of general importance by virtue of its architectural value as an example of Art Deco and by virtue of its funerary-historical value as part of the Kovelswade cemetery.
