Omschrijving
HEK in neo-classicistische vormgeving uitgevoerd, bedoeld ter afscheiding van de eigenlijke begraafplaats en het monumentale voorplein. Het elegant vormgegeven ijzeren hek staat op een stenen plint en tussen hardstenen stéles van verschillende afmetingen en met diverse decoraties, ondermeer een bekroning in de vorm van urnen en palmetten.
Waardering
HEK van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische- en architectonische waarden als karakteristiek voorbeeld van een hek in neo-classicistische vormgeving en vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van begraafplaats Kovelswade.

Description
FENCE in neo-classical design, intended to separate the actual cemetery from the monumental forecourt. The elegantly designed iron fence stands on a stone plinth and between sandstone steles of various dimensions and with diverse decorations, including a crown in the form of urns and palmettes.

FENCE of general importance by virtue of its cultural-historical and architectural values as a characteristic example of a fence in neo-classical design and by virtue of its funerary-historical value as part of the Kovelswade cemetery.
