Omschrijving
FAMILIEGRAF bestaande uit graftombe afgedekt met ongeprofileerde zerk van hardsteen, de hoeken afgezet met koper, aan de kop staande steen van zandsteen op een gebosseerde voet, voorts met marmeren platen binnen een hardstenen omlijsting, de hoeken afgezet met koperbeslag. Tekst: "Jacob van Noordenne / geboren te Sliedrecht /14 oct. 1850 / overleden te Utrecht / 9 oct 1917/ en Cornelia van Noordenne - Kraaienveld / geboren te Sliedrecht / 9 febr 1854 / overleden te Utrecht / 13 maart 1925. Overige teksten gaan tot en met 1993.
Het geheel omgeven met lage, gebosseerde muurtjes met een sierlijk vormgegeven hekwerkje. Op de liggende steen in de hoek gesigneerd F.J. van der Kaa.
Naast de zerk twee symmetrisch geplaatste treurboompjes.
Waardering
Grafmonument van algemeen belang vanwege de kunsthistorische waarde als voorbeeld van karakteristieke vormgeving en tevens vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van de begraafplaats Kovelswade.

Description
FAMILY GRAVE consisting of grave tomb covered with unprofile slab of hard stone, the corners set off with copper, at the head a standing stone of sandstone on a rusticated base, furthermore with marble plates within hard stone framing, the corners set off with copper fittings. Text: "Jacob van Noordenne / born in Sliedrecht /14 Oct. 1850 / died in Utrecht / 9 Oct 1917/ and Cornelia van Noordenne - Kraaienveld / born in Sliedrecht / 9 Feb 1854 / died in Utrecht / 13 March 1925. Other texts run until and including 1993.
The whole surrounded by low, rusticated walls with an elegantly designed small fence. On the reclining stone in the corner signed F.J. van der Kaa.
Beside the slab two symmetrically placed weeping trees.

Grave monument of general importance on account of art-historical value as an example of characteristic design and also on account of funerary-historical value as part of Kovelswade cemetery.
