Omschrijving
GRAFMONUMENT bestaande uit tombe afgedekt met licht gebogen metalen plaat. Daarin de inscriptie "De eeuwige vergankelijkheid is de werkelijke bestendigheid" met in het midden een dubbele weegschaal en daaronder de naam "Begeer".
Waardering
Grafmonument van algemeen belang vanwege de kunsthistorische waarde als voorbeeld van karakteristieke vormgeving en materiaal en tevens vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van begraafplaats Kovelswade.

GRAVE MONUMENT consisting of tomb covered with slightly curved metal plate. Therein the inscription "Eternal transience is true permanence" with in the centre a double balance scale and below the name "Begeer".
Valuation
Grave monument of general importance on account of art-historical value as an example of characteristic design and material and also on account of funerary-historical value as part of Kovelswade cemetery.
