Inleiding
PASTORIE met een aanbouw, beide gebouwd in 1906 in ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl, ten dienste van de er rechts achter gesitueerde St. Luciakerk. Het onderste deel van de ramen is rond 1950 gewijzigd.
Omschrijving
De tweelaagse vrijstaande pastorie heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, een mansardekap met leien in maasdekking en is opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen met een hardsteen plint. De voorgevel telt vijf vensterassen en is symmetrisch van opzet. De middenrisaliet en de hoeklisenen springen halfsteens uit. De vensters hebben vernieuwde vierruits openslaande ramen en daarboven een tweeruits bovenlicht. Onder de vensters van begane grond en de identieke op de verdieping een hardstenen cordonlijst. Centraal een vleugeldeur met hardsteen stoepje en treden in segmentboogportiek. De deur is voorzien van kussens, staande vensters en gekoppelde rondboograampjes met smeedijzeren roosters, hierboven een vierentwintigruits bovenlicht. De kroonlijst onder het dak heeft een tandlijst en baksteen consoles. Centraal een baksteen topgevel met natuursteen klauwstukken en afdeklijst met cirkel, openslaand raam met achtruits bovenlicht. Op de nok van het dak een opengewerkte vierkante dakruiter met een luiklok. De zijden van de dakruiter zijn voorzien van driepassen, het spitsje heeft een windvaan.
In de dakvlakken van de zijgevels elk één dakkapel, aan de achterzijde twee. Alle met vierruits raam, spitsje met piron. Het L-vormige bijgebouw is iets terugspringend aan de rechtergevel aangebouwd. Het is eenlaags en heeft een samengesteld zadeldak met muldenpannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen met een tandlijst onder de daklijst. Aan de voorzijde een tuitgevel, een gekoppeld raam en een zolderraam. Ook in zijgevel ramen zoals bij het hoofdgebouw. Achter rechts een paneeldeur met bovenlicht, aangezet trapje met drie treden en smeedijzeren leuning. Achtergevel met hoog raam met kleine roedenverdeling. Vanaf de achtergevel een laag bakstenen muurtje onder ezelsrugafdekking. In de tuin, die de pastorie omringt, staat een rode beuk met een diameter van ca. 2,5 meter en een valse acacia met een omtrek van ca. 3 meter.

The two-storey detached parsonage has a rectangular floor plan, a mansard roof with slates in Maas bond and is constructed of machine-made brick with a hardstone plinth. The front facade has five window bays and is symmetrical in layout. The central risalit and the corner pilasters project half a brick. The windows have renewed four-pane opening sashes and above them a two-pane fanlight. Below the windows of the ground floor and the identical ones on the floor above a hardstone band. Centrally a double door with a hardstone doorstep and steps in a segmental-arch portico. The door is provided with panels, standing windows and coupled round-arched panes with wrought-iron grilles, above this a twenty-four-pane fanlight. The cornice under the roof has a dentil moulding and brick consoles. Centrally a brick spout gable with natural stone claw pieces and a capping moulding with circle, opening window with eight-pane fanlight. On the ridge of the roof an open-worked square roof turret with a bell. The sides of the roof turret are provided with trefoils, the spire has a weathervane.
In the roof slopes of the side facades each one roof dormer, on the rear two. All with four-pane window, spire with cresting. In the garden, which surrounds the parsonage, stands a red beech with a diameter of approximately 2.5 metres and a false acacia with a circumference of approximately 3 metres.

The parsonage is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a social and spiritual development, in particular the development of Catholicism and the formation of parish centres in the countryside. It is of importance for the typological development of the village parsonage. It has architectural-historical importance as an example of the use of diverse styles to promote Catholicism.
