Omschrijving
Als onderdeel van het woningbouwcomplex Rosehaghe gebouwd WONINGBLOK bestaande uit dertig woningen over het grootste deel van de westzijde van de Hoofmanstraat. De ten westen van de achtertuinen lopende spoordijk begint hier af te buigen naar het oosten. Het symmetrische blok staat op langwerpig, licht concaaf, grondplan dat door afwisseling van vooruitspringende en terugliggende onderdelen aan voorzijde (straatzijde) en achterzijde slingerend van karakter is. Het blok bevat aan de straatzijde vier vooruitspringende partijen met risalieten waarvan de gootlijst ononderbroken is. Deze partijen zijn achtereenvolgens geplaatst op beide hoeken en op gelijke afstand daartussen. De binnenste partijen zijn dubbel van samenstelling en bevatten elk vier woningen. De hoekpartijen bevatten elk twee woningen. De terugliggende partijen bevatten in totaal zes paarsgewijs geplaatste risalieten met doorbroken gootlijst en verdiepingloze uitbouw.

Description
As part of the housing complex Rosehaghe, built HOUSING BLOCK consisting of thirty dwellings over the greater part of the west side of Hoofmanstraat. The railway embankment running west of the gardens begins to curve toward the east here. The symmetrical block stands on an elongated, slightly concave ground plan which, through alternation of projecting and recessed components on the front (street side) and rear, is serpentine in character. The block contains on the street side four projecting sections with risalits whose gutter line is unbroken. These sections are placed successively at both corners and at equal distances between them. The innermost sections are double in composition and each contain four dwellings. The corner sections each contain two dwellings. The recessed sections contain a total of six risalits placed in pairs with broken gutter line and single-storey extension.
