Inleiding
De EISMA-BANK is in 1936 tot stand gekomen naar een zeer sober ontwerp van de gemeente architect J. Postma ter ere van de familie Eisma. De Eisma's hebben een belangrijke rol gespeeld in het politieke, economische en sociale leven van Bolsward. Uit dank is de 'Stichting Eisma Bank' in het leven geroepen die de bank op 2 juli 1936 officieel aan de gemeente schonk. Het Julianapark, waarin de bank gelegen is, is mede tot stand gekomen door de inspanningen van de familie Eisma.
Omschrijving
De bank is opgetrokken in donkerrode baksteen met een betonnen plaat als zitting en twee betonnen afdekstenen op de kop van de armleuning. Het metselwerk is anderhalfsteens uitgevoerd. De rugleuning loopt vanuit de armleuningen trapsgewijs twee koppenlagen op. De leuningen worden begrensd door een halfsteens rollaag; centraal in de rugleuning is een steen met de inscriptie 'eisma bank'. Onder de betonnen zitting is een muurdam aangebracht die terug ligt ten opzichte van de armleuningen en die eveneens begrensd wordt door een rollaag.

De Eisma Bank is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch belang:
- als onderdeel van een groter geheel dat vanuit cultuurhistorisch, architectuurhistorisch en stedenbouwkundig oogpunt van algemeen belang is voor Bolsward;

Introduction
The EISMA BANK came into being in 1936 according to a very austere design by municipal architect J. Postma in honor of the Eisma family. The Eismas played an important role in the political, economic and social life of Bolsward. In gratitude the 'Eisma Bank Foundation' was established which officially donated the bank to the municipality on 2 July 1936. The Julianapark, in which the bank is situated, was also realized through the efforts of the Eisma family.
Description
The bank is constructed of dark red brick with a concrete slab as seating and two concrete coping stones on the armrest. The masonry is executed one-and-a-half bricks thick. The backrest rises in steps from the armrests two header courses up. The railings are bounded by a half-brick roll course; central in the backrest is a stone with the inscription 'eisma bank'. Under the concrete seating is a wall dam installed which lies back relative to the armrests and which is also bounded by a roll course.
