Inleiding
Toegangspartij tot het Julianapark te Bolsward, gerealiseerd tegelijk met de aanleg in 1913 van het park dat een ontwerp is van de firma Wybren Krijns & Co. Het geheel werd, als blijk van instemming met de stichting van het Julianapark, door het Algemeen Stads Armenhuis aan de gemeente geschonken.
Omschrijving
Uit bruinrode steen opgetrokken toegangspartij, bestaande uit twee maal drie bakstenen zuilen met siermetselwerk, die elk een hoek van 90 graden vormen. De ruimten tussen de zuilen zijn gevuld met siersmeedwerk en een hardstenen plaat met Jugendstil-motief. Het opschrift links herinnert aan de schenking van het park aan de gemeente Bolsward door het Sint Anthony Gasthuis en het Weeshuis; het opschrift rechts meldt dat het 'toegangshek' werd geschonken door het Algemeen Stads Armenhuis te Bolsward. Het geheel is afsluitbaar door twee vleugels met siersmeedwerk.

The spaces between the columns are filled with decorative ironwork and a hardstone plaque with Art Nouveau motifs. The inscription on the left commemorates the donation of the park to the municipality of Bolsward by the Sint Anthony Gasthuis and the Orphanage; the inscription on the right states that the 'entrance gate' was donated by the Algemeen Stads Armenhuis in Bolsward. The whole can be closed off by two wings with decorative ironwork.
