Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
Deels in structuur en deels in detail gaaf bewaarde kleinschalige aanleg in landschapsstijl uit ca.1840. De aanleg is te onderscheiden in een aanleg in landschapsstijl rondom het huis (west), een deel met nutstuinen (boomgaarden) en een parkbos langs de Linge (oost). De buitenplaats is vanaf de Uiterdijk toegankelijk middels een half rondeel die voor het huis langs loopt. Het terrein tussen het huis en de weg is open van karakter bestaande uit een gazon geflankeerd door bossages met heesters en loofbomen. Parallel aan de weg liep oorspronkelijk een gebogen pad mnet een aftakking naar het huis. Het open karakter geldt ook voor het terrein achter het huis alwaar een gazon afloopt naar de Linge met een weids zicht naar de achterliggende weilanden. Twee monumentale solitaire bomen, Plataan en Rode Beuk, flankeren het huis. Dit open deel grenst aan de westzijde aan een parkje met een vanaf de Linge uitgegraven slingerende waterloop rondom een groot eiland uitmondend in een lusvormige vijver. Vanaf een houten bruggetje naar het eiland loopt een zichtas gericht op de kerktoren van Zoelen. Langs de vijver is een slingerend wandelpad en enkele solitairen. Door opslag heeft het een bosachtig karakter gekregen. Ten oosten van het huis ligt een restant van de voormalige moestuin en boomgaarden en de voormalige tuinmanswoning. Aan de moestuin herinnert alleen nog de vervallen koude bak. In de boomgaard aansluitend op het open deel voor het huis is nog een slingerend verdiept padenpatroon zichtbaar, waarlangs hoogstammige fruitbomen staan. Aan de Linge staat als solitair op een klein heuveltje een Okkernoot. Het langwerpige parkbos heeft restanten van een waterpartij en een slingerend padenpatroon met enkele solitairen. Aan de Linge is een heuvel opgeworpen, die thans is afgevlakt, waar een zitje was om thee te drinken.
Waardering
De HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- als voorbeeld van een kleinschalige 19de-eeuwse aanleg in landschapsstijl die tegelijk met het huis tot stand is gekomen;

Description component 2: HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT.
Partially in structure and partially in detail, a well-preserved small-scale landscape-style layout from circa 1840. The layout can be distinguished into a landscape-style layout surrounding the house (west), a section with utility gardens (orchards) and a park wood along the Linge (east). The estate is accessible from the Uiterdijk by means of a half roundel that runs in front of the house. The terrain between the house and the road is open in character, consisting of a lawn flanked by bosquets with shrubs and deciduous trees. Parallel to the road originally ran a curved path with a branch-off to the house. The open character also applies to the terrain behind the house where a lawn slopes down to the Linge with a broad view towards the meadows beyond. Two monumental solitary trees, a Plane tree and a Red Beech, flank the house. This open section borders on the west side a small park with a winding watercourse dug out from the Linge around a large island opening into a loop-shaped pond. From a small wooden bridge to the island runs a sight axis directed towards the church tower of Zoelen. Along the pond is a winding walking path and several solitary trees. Through overgrowth it has taken on a wooded character. To the east of the house lies a remnant of the former kitchen garden and orchards and the former gardener's cottage. The kitchen garden is now recalled only by a dilapidated cold frame. In the orchard adjoining the open section in front of the house, a winding sunken path pattern is still visible, along which high-stemmed fruit trees stand. On the Linge stands as a solitary on a small knoll a Walnut tree. The elongated park wood has remnants of a water feature and a winding path pattern with several solitary trees.
