Parkaanleg. Het hoofdgebouw ligt op een deels omgracht terrein. De gracht is nog herkenbaar aan de zuidzijde waar sinds 2000 wederom een ophaalbrug ligt. Voor het huis is een tuin aangelegd met niveauverschillen. Op het voorplein bevindt zich een oude natuurstenen zonnewijzer, afgesloten met geprofileerde lijst met tekst: "horas signo umbra movente flores digno luce favente".Vanaf de binnenplaats is via de berceaux de moestuin en bordertuin (ca. 1910) te bereiken, die in structuur gaaf bewaard zijn gebleven. Vanuit het huis is aan de westzijde een blikveld opengehouden tot waar de oprijlaan vroeger de Berkel kruiste. De begrenzing volgt het oude verloop van de Berkel. De door bomen omzoomde oprijlaan is verhard met puin. Aan het begin bevinden zich twee lage cilindervormige kolommen met opschrift De Heest. Aan de noordzijde van de oprijlaan een parkweide in landschapsstijl met enkele solitairen en boomgroepen (19de eeuw). Achter het huis bevindt zich een klein park met wandelpaden. Hierin ligt tevens het koetshuis. Vanuit het huis is in zuidelijke richting een open weide aangelegd, omzoomd door bomen waardoor het landschap vanuit het huis ervaren wordt. Een 18e eeuwse laan voert naar de boerderij.
Waardering
De parkaanleg is van algemeen belang vanwege de waarde als gegroeide aanleg met formele elementen (oprijlaan), elementen uit de Engelse landschapsstijl (parkaanleg, tuin met niveauverschillen) en elementen en van vroeg 20ste-eeuwse tuinkunst (bordertuin) en alszodanig als belangrijk cultuurhistorisch 'groen'- element in het landschap.

Park layout. The main building stands on a partly moated site. The moat is still recognisable on the south side where since 2000 a drawbridge has again been present. Before the house a garden has been laid out with level differences. On the forecourt there is an old natural stone sundial, enclosed with profiled moulding with text: "horas signo umbra movente flores digno luce favente". From the courtyard the kitchen garden and border garden (circa 1910) can be reached via the berceaux, which have remained well-preserved in structure. From the house on the west side a clear line of sight has been kept open to where the drive formerly crossed the Berkel. The delimitation follows the old course of the Berkel. The tree-lined drive is surfaced with rubble. At the beginning there are two low cylindrical columns with the inscription De Heest. On the north side of the drive a park meadow in landscape style with some solitaries and tree groups (19th century). Behind the house there is a small park with walking paths. In this lies also the coach house. From the house in southern direction an open meadow has been laid out, bordered by trees through which the landscape is experienced from the house.
