onderdeel 1. Huis Schouwenburg
Het landhuis in zijn huidige vorm stamt uit circa 1850 en is gebouwd op een rechthoekige plattegrond met aan de westzijde een iets lagere uitbouw, waarin zich de keuken bevindt. Het huis heeft twee verdiepingen onder een omlopende kroonlijst en een met geglazuurde pannen gedekt, omlopend, afgeplat schilddak. Van de oudste bouwperiode (16de eeuw) zijn kelders onder het huis bewaard gebleven. Op het dak staan vijf schoorstenen en een klokkentorentje. De gevels zijn gepleisterd; de voorgevel heeft zeven traveeën, voorzien van vensters met schuiframen, waarvan de middelste drie risalerend zijn uitgevoerd en bekroond worden door een trapgevelvormige attiek. De gevel aan de zuidzijde telt zes traveeën en is op de begane grond voorzien van tot op de grond doorlopende vensters. Voor de middelste twee traveeën een balkon op twee kolommen, verder stores voor de schuifvensters en drie dakkapellen. De keuken heeft één bouwlaag onder een met pannen afgedekt, afgeplat zadeldak en is voorzien van schuifvensters. Van het interieur zijn ondermeer de volgende onderdelen van belang: centrale gang met marmeren vloer en stucplafond, kamer links naast de entree met schouw (afkomstig uit Oudewijk 16, te Elburg) en stucplafonds. In contrast hiermee is de kamer rechts van de ingang, deze is vrijwel zonder versiering, aangezien hier de pachters ontvangen werden. Keuken met tegels en onderdelen uit de 19de en vroeg 20ste eeuw. Bijkeuken met pomp. The kitchen has one storey under a saddle roof covered with tiles and flattened, and is provided with sash windows. From the interior the following components are noteworthy: central hallway with marble floor and stucco ceiling, room to the left of the entrance with fireplace (originating from Oudewijk 16, at Elburg) and stucco ceilings. In contrast to this is the room to the right of the entrance, this is virtually without decoration, as the tenants were received here.
