Omschrijving onderdeel 8: MAGAZIJN (De Oude Molen 4).
Inleiding
Dit MAGAZIJN werd gebouwd in 1925 onder toezicht van opzichter G. Rigter. Het object is gelegen op het voorterrein ten zuiden van een aantal andere magazijnen. Het is gericht op de weg die het terrein als een middenas in de lengterichting door midden snijdt. Van oudsher liep hier een smalspoor overheen.
Aan het eind van de twintigste eeuw werd het pand in het kader van de herbestemming verbouwd tot showroom met kantoorruimte.
Omschrijving
Het magazijn, bestaande uit één bouwlaag en een kap, is op langgerekte, rechthoekige plattegrond gebouwd. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in machinale baksteen in kruisverband. Het bouwdeel wordt bekroond door een met gesmoorde kruispannen bedekt zadeldak waarvan de nok oost-west is georiënteerd. De voorgevel bevindt zich aan de noordzijde en wordt ingedeeld door drie deuren die over hangrails opengeschoven kunnen worden. De middendeur is van dubbele breedte. De gevelopeningen zijn voorzien van betonnen vooruitstekende plateautjes, die fungeerden als perronnetje ten behoeve van in- en uitladen van goederen. Boven elke deur bevindt zich een kapelhuis met hijsbalk en -luik. In de voorgevel zijn verder vier liggende vensters aangebracht.
De achtergevel van het magazijn bezit een deur en een negental liggende vensters. De kopgevels zijn afgezet met een klimmend baksteenfries en een houten daklijst. Ze worden elk ingedeeld door een deur en vensters van verschillend formaat.

Introduction
This WAREHOUSE was built in 1925 under the supervision of supervisor G. Rigter. The object is located on the front grounds south of several other warehouses. It is oriented towards the road that cuts through the site as a central axis lengthways. A narrow-gauge railway historically ran across here.
At the end of the twentieth century the building was refurbished as part of the conversion to a showroom with office space.
Description
The warehouse, consisting of one storey and a roof structure, is built on an elongated, rectangular plan. The façades are built in machine-made brick in Flemish bond. The building is crowned by a gabled roof covered with interlocking tiles, with the ridge oriented east-west. The front façade is on the north side and is divided by three doors that can be opened by sliding on overhead rails. The middle door is double width. The wall openings are fitted with protruding reinforced concrete platforms, which served as loading platforms for the loading and unloading of goods. Above each door is a hoist house with hoist beam and hatch. In the front façade are also four horizontal windows.
The rear façade of the warehouse has a door and nine horizontal windows. The gable ends are finished with a climbing brick frieze and a wooden roof moulding. They are each divided by a door and windows of varying sizes.
