Omschrijving
Aan de zuidwestzijde in het Cantonspark ligt een KWEEKBAK. Deze kwekerij is verdiept gelegen en wordt aan de noord en westzijde omsloten door een tuinmuur. De tuinmuur is opgetrokken uit baksteen met muurdammen en een ezelsrug. Aan de noordzijde is de muur in het midden verhoogd en voorzien van een getoogde poortvormige doorgang met twee deuren. Deze geven toegang tot het middenpad dat ter weerszijden met boompjes beplant is. Op de hoek aan de noordoostzijde van de kwekerij bevindt zich een trapje van cement met een leuning met pijlers in de vorm van een dobbelsteenkapiteel. De tuinmuur die gelegen is op het zuiden doet tevens dienst als kweekmuur van druivenstruiken.
Waardering
De kwekerij is van cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege het bouwtype en de kweekmuur.

Description
On the south-western side in the Cantonspark lies a FORCING FRAME. This nursery is sunken and is enclosed on the north and west sides by a garden wall. The garden wall is constructed of brick with wall buttresses and an espalier wall. On the north side the wall is heightened in the centre and provided with an arched gateway-form passage with two doors. These give access to the central path which is planted with small trees on either side. On the corner on the north-east side of the nursery is a cement staircase with a railing with piers in the form of a cube capital. The garden wall located on the south also serves as an espalier wall for grape vines.

The forcing frame is of cultural-historical and architectural-historical value because of the building type and the espalier wall.
