IJSKELDER. In een hoge, kunstmatig opgeworpen heuvel bevindt zich een ijskelder uit ca.1900, die toegankelijk is via een horizontaal portaal met tongewelf. Het portaal wordt geflankeerd door twee recht naar voren springende steunberen. De hoofdvorm van de kelder wordt gevormd door een bakstenen koepelgewelf met een speciale constructie van T-profielijzerbalken, waarboven een doorgemetselde cirkelvormige wand met zware H-profielijzerbalken, die een grote ronde plaatijzeren watertank droegen (in 1976 verwijderd). De watertank was geïsoleerd met een gepleisterde laag stro en turf. Om het zand van de hoge heuvel, de ruimte tussen het koepelgewelf en de watertank bedraagt ca.4 meter, vast te houden zijn gecementeerde bakstenen 'imitatie rotsblokken' aangebracht, waartussen met ijzerdraad bewapende platen als bodembedekker werden gebruikt. ICE HOUSE. In a high, artificially constructed mound is situated an ice house from c.1900, which is accessible via a horizontal portal with barrel vault. The portal is flanked by two supporting buttresses projecting straight forward. The main form of the ice house is formed by a brick barrel vault with a special construction of T-profile iron beams, above which a solid circular wall with heavy H-profile iron beams, which carried a large round sheet-iron water tank (removed in 1976). The water tank was insulated with a plastered layer of straw and peat. To keep the sand of the high mound in place, the space between the barrel vault and the water tank measures c.4 metres, cemented brick 'imitation rock blocks' were installed, between which reinforced plates with iron wire were used as ground cover. The water was used for watering the park.
