HEKWERK rond de voortuin en deels rond de pastorie van het religieuze complex Johannes de Doper te Westbeemster, daterend van omstreeks 1880.
Omschrijving
IJzeren tuinhek, bestaande uit op regelmatige afstand van elkaar geplaatste ronde pijlers met daartussen minder zwaar uitgevoerde hekwerk op gemetselde voeting. Pijlers en spijlen van het hekwerk worden bekroond door decoraties in de vorm van Franse lelies.
Waardering
Het uit omstreeks 1880 daterende tuinhek is van algemeen belang wegens cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als historisch functioneel onderdeel van het St Jan de Doper-complex.
