Omschrijving
Op vrij grondplan gebouwde DUBBELE DIENSTWONING (1897-1898), onderdeel van het waterwincomplex "Waterleidingbedrijf Zuid-Kennemerland", waarschijnlijk naar ontwerp van J. Schotel, bestaande uit parterre en kapverdieping onder samengestelde kap met zwarte kruispan. De kap bestaat uit twee elkaar snijdende zadeldaken met ongelijke goothoogte. De licht overstekende kap heeft gladde windveren die in de geveltop aan de noordzijde worden bekroond met een metalen windvaan. De evenwijdig aan de Zeeweg lopende noklijn wordt doorsneden door een schoorsteen. Een tweede schoorsteen doorsnijdt het oostelijk dakschild. Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een uitgemetselde plint. Het muurwerk is gedecoreerd met horizontale banden (speklagen) in oranjerode baksteen. De boogvelden onder de ontlastingsbogen boven de vensters en deuren hebben metselmozaïk in rode en gele baksteen. Het pand heeft grote vensters aan de noordzijde. De vensters bestaan uit dubbele kozijnen met schuifvensters en hebben aan weerszijden luiken.

DOUBLE SERVANTS' DWELLING (1897-1898) built on a free ground plan, component of the water supply complex "Waterleidingbedrijf Zuid-Kennemerland", probably designed by J. Schotel, consisting of ground floor and attic storey under a combined roof with black Spanish tiles. The roof consists of two intersecting gabled roofs with unequal eaves heights. The slightly overhanging roof has plain wind braces which at the top of the gable on the north side are crowned with a metal weather vane. The ridge line running parallel to the Zeeweg is intersected by a chimney. A second chimney intersects the eastern roof slope. The masonry is built in red brick on a finished plinth. The masonry is decorated with horizontal bands (brick courses) in orange-red brick. The spandrels beneath the relieving arches above the windows and doors have brick mosaic in red and yellow brick. The building has large windows on the north side. The windows consist of double frames with sash windows and have shutters on either side.
