Omschrijving
De gevel van het WOONHUIS telt vier vensterassen, opgetrokken in witte verblendsteen met gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen. Voor de sierbanden en bogen en tussen de klampen van de gootlijst zijn witte verblendstenen met daarop ruiten in een leverkleurige tint gebruikt. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een op drie plaatsen door lisenen onderbroken gootlijst. Op de meest rechtse doorgetrokken liseen is de oorspronkelijke driehoekige beëindiging bewaard gebleven. De bovenlichten van de vensters zijn voorzien van een roedenverdeling. De ingangsportiek bevindt zich in de meest rechtse vensteras. In de portiek twee paneeldeuren met bovenlichten, facetgeslepen glas, sierijzers en enkele eenvoudige Art Nouveau basreliëfs. Boven de bovenlichten een houten lijst met diamantkoppen. Op de begane grond zijn de ingangsportiek en vensters getoogd, op de eerste en tweede verdieping rechtgesloten. De vensters op de eerste verdieping zijn onder segmentbogen geplaatst. Oorspronkelijk bevonden zich hoogstwaarschijnlijk majolica tegeltableaus in de boogtrommels.
Voor de vensters op de eerste verdieping is een balkon met een ijzeren hek opgehangen. De aanzet van de lisenen bevindt zich voor de twee buitenste ter hoogte van de tweede verdieping en voor de middelste op de hoogte van de eerste verdieping. Op laatstgenoemde liseen vormt een waterafvoer met vergaarbak een decoratief element.
Waardering
Het woonhuis is van algemeen architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:

Description
The facade of the DWELLING HOUSE comprises four window bays, constructed in white facing brick with plastered reveal and closing stones. White facing bricks with lozenges in a liver-coloured tint have been used for the decorative bands and arches and between the clamps of the drip moulding. The facade is terminated by a drip moulding interrupted at three places by pilasters. On the rightmost continuous pilaster the original triangular termination has been preserved. The fanlights of the windows are provided with glazing bars. The entrance portico is located in the rightmost window bay. In the portico two panel doors with fanlights, facet-cut glass, decorative ironwork and some simple Art Nouveau bas-reliefs. Above the fanlights a wooden moulding with diamond heads. On the ground floor the entrance portico and windows are arched; on the first and second storey rectangularly-closed. The windows on the first storey are placed under segmental arches. Originally majolica tile tableaux most likely occupied the arch soffits.
In front of the windows on the first storey a balcony with an iron railing is suspended. The base of the pilasters is located in front of the two outer ones at the height of the second storey and for the middle one at the height of the first storey. On the latter pilaster a water drain with a catch basin forms a decorative element.
Valuation
The dwelling house is of general architectural-historical and urban-planning importance:
- due to the very pure Art Nouveau architectural style
- as part of an entire street frontage with Art Nouveau properties designed all at once
- due to the intactness of the exterior
