Omschrijving
De WOONHUIZEN met nummer 8 en 10 zijn beide opgetrokken in rode verblendsteen met geel-witte sierbanden en segmentbogen en gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen. De gevel telt zes vensterassen. De middelste vier vensterassen zijn gespiegeld identiek, bevatten de centraal gelegen ingangsportieken en worden afgesloten door een steekkap met wolfeind. De buitenste vensterassen zijn verschillend uitgevoerd, maar beide voorzien van een erker. De linker erker is één bouwlaag hoog, driezijdig, met kleine majolica tegeltableaus met abstracte motieven onder de gootlijst. De rechter erker is twee bouwlagen hoog, halfrond en voorzien van majolica tegeltableaus met schermbloemmotieven en een ijzeren geometrisch balkonhek. De balkondeuren hierboven bevinden zich in een loggia. De vensters zijn rechtgesloten met uitzondering van de getoogde vensters naast de getoogde ingangsportieken. De bovenlichten waren oorspronkelijk allemaal voorzien van roeden. Boven de vensters op de eerste verdieping in de middelste vier vensterassen segmentbogen. The DWELLING HOUSES numbered 8 and 10 are both constructed in red facing brick with yellow-white decorative bands and segmental arches and plastered reveal and closing stones. The facade comprises six window bays. The middle four window bays are mirrored identically, contain the centrally located entrance porticos and are terminated by a gabled roof with half-hipped end. The outer window bays are executed differently, but both provided with a bay window. The left bay window is one storey high, three-sided, with small majolica tile tableaux with abstract motifs under the drip moulding. The right bay window is two storeys high, semi-circular and provided with majolica tile tableaux with screen-flower motifs and an iron geometric balcony railing. The balcony doors above are located in a loggia. The windows are rectangularly-closed with the exception of the arched windows next to the arched entrance porticos. The fanlights were originally all provided with glazing bars. Above the windows on the first storey in the middle four window bays segmental arches. In the arch soffits abstract majolica tile tableaux with flowing lines.
