Omschrijving
Het WOONHUIS is opgetrokken in rode verblendsteen met gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen, gele sierbanden en bogen met contrasterende stenen. De rechter zijgevel is in drie delen geleed: het rechter deel risaleert en heeft drie kleine vensters in de zijkant van het risaliet; de middenpartij wordt in beslag genomen door rondboog traplichten die schuin boven elkaar zijn geplaatst; het linker deel is geheel blind. Verder is de gevel voorzien van gootlijsten op klampen boven de twee rechter geveldelen, twee halfronde spaarbogen in het linker deel en drie getoogde spaarbogen in het risaliet.
De voorgevel telt twee vensterassen. Rechts is de portiek onder een rondboog geplaatst. De voordeur is voorzien van gebogen roeden, een venster met roedenverdeling en boven- en zijlichten. Boven de portiek twee samengestelde rechtgesloten vensters, waarvan de bovenste onder een segmentboog.
De linker vensteras bestaat op de begane grond uit een driezijdige erker met daarop een balkon. Onder de rechtgesloten vensters van de erker siermetselwerk van verblendsteen. Erboven kleine majolica tegeltableaus met gestileerde florale motieven. Op de eerste verdieping een rechtgesloten samengesteld venster, op de tweede een loggia onder een segmentboog. Op het balkon en in de loggia eenvoudige houten balkonhekjes.
Waardering
Het woonhuis is van algemeen architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:
- vanwege de zeer zuivere Art Nouveau bouwstijl

The DWELLING HOUSE is erected in red facing brick with plastered abutment and closing stones, yellow decorative bands and arches with contrasting stones. The right side facade is articulated in three parts: the right part projects and has three small windows in the side of the risalite; the middle section is occupied by round-arch stair lights placed diagonally above each other; the left part is entirely blind. Furthermore, the facade is provided with gutter lines on brackets above the two right facade parts, two half-round spare arches in the left part and three arched spare arches in the risalite.
The front facade has two window bays. On the right the porch is placed under a round arch. The front door is provided with curved glazing bars, a window with glazing bars and upper and side lights. Above the porch two composite rectangular windows, of which the upper one is under a segmented arch.
The left window bay consists on the ground floor of a three-sided oriel with a balcony above it. Below the rectangular windows of the oriel decorative brickwork of facing brick. Above it small majolica tile tableaux with stylised floral motifs. On the first floor a rectangular composite window, on the second a loggia under a segmented arch. On the balcony and in the loggia simple wooden balcony railings.
