Omschrijving
De voorgevel van het WOONHUIS telt vier vensterassen, opgetrokken in witte verblendsteen met gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen. Voor de sierbanden en bogen zijn witte verblendstenen met daarop ruiten in een leverkleurige tint gebruikt. De bovenlichten van de vensters zijn voorzien van een roedenverdeling.
De linker twee vensterassen, met geheel links de ingangsportiek, zijn hoger dan de rechter twee. In de portiek twee paneeldeuren met bovenlichten, glas, sierijzers en enkele eenvoudige Art Nouveau basreliëfs. De portiek en het venster ernaast zijn getoogd, de bovenlichten van de balkondeuren erboven gesloten met een rondboog en de bovenlichten van de vensters op de tweede verdieping rechtgesloten. Het balkon steunt op grote houten consoles en heeft een houten balustrade. Tussen de vensters op de tweede verdieping spaarvelden met rondbogen.
In de rechter twee vensterassen vormen de vensters op de begane grond en eerste verdieping één geheel: de rechtgesloten vensters op de begane grond worden met die op de verdieping verbonden door majolica tegeltableaus met schermbloemmotieven. The front facade of the DWELLING HOUSE comprises four window bays, constructed in white facing brick with plastered reveal and closing stones. White facing bricks with lozenges in a liver-coloured tint have been used for the decorative bands and arches. The fanlights of the windows are provided with glazing bars.
The left two window bays, with the entrance portico on the far left, are higher than the right two. In the portico two panel doors with fanlights, glass, decorative ironwork and some simple Art Nouveau bas-reliefs. The portico and the window next to it are arched; the fanlights of the balcony doors above are closed with a round arch and the fanlights of the windows on the second storey are closed rectangularly. The balcony is supported on large wooden consoles and has a wooden balustrade. Between the windows on the second storey spandrels with round arches.
In the right two window bays, the windows on the ground floor and first storey form a whole: the rectangularly-closed windows on the ground floor are connected with those on the storey by majolica tile tableaux with screen-flower motifs.
