Inleiding:
LANGGEVELBOERDERIJ in Traditionalistische stijl uit ca. 1940. In het kader van de wederopbouwwet uit de Tweede Wereldoorloggebouwd met veestal voor koeien en varkens. De boerderij ligt op een trapeziumvormig perceel grond, met de voor- of noordgevel parallel aan de Dorpsstraat op de hoek met de Lindenstraat. Rond 1980 is aan de achterkant van de boerderij de varkensstal omgebouwd tot zelfstandige woonruimte voor de inwonende ouders van de boer. Op het erf twee bijgebouwen een onder zadel- en de ander ondereen wolfsdak, deze behoren echter niet tot de bescherming.
Omschrijving:
De boerderij heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond met een inspringing in de lange voor- en achtergevel ter plaatse van de overgang van het bedrijf-naar woongedeelte. Op de boerderij een wolfsdak met een versprongen dakvoet gedeeltelijk gedekt met riet en opnieuw verbeterde Hollandse pannnen. Zes- en vierruits schuifvensters met luiken in het woongedeelte en stalramen in het bedrijfsgedeelte. Voordeur met getoogd bovenlicht en geometrische roedenverdeling. Opgaand werk bestaat uit machinale baksteen gemetseld in halfsteens verband. Indeling van het woonhuis is vrijwel ongewijzigd.
Waardering:
De boerderij is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als specimen van de venieuwing van de boerderijbouw onder gelijktijdige toepassing van aan de traditie ontleende vormen en als herinnering aan de oorlogshandelingen rond Mill en de daaropvolgende wederopbouw. Het geheel heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als een zeer goed voorbeeld van de stijl van de wederopbouwboerderijen. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en betrekkelijk zeldzaam.

Introduction:
LONG-GABLED FARMHOUSE in Traditionalist style from c. 1940. Built under the Reconstruction Act following the Second World War with livestock housing for cattle and pigs. The farmhouse is situated on a trapezoidal plot of land, with the front or north facade parallel to the Dorpsstraat at the corner with the Lindenstraat. Around 1980 the pigsty at the rear of the farmhouse was converted into independent living quarters for the farmer's resident parents. On the farmyard two outbuildings, one with a gabled roof and the other with a half-hipped roof, these do not however fall within the protection.
Description:
The farmhouse has a rectangular floor plan with a recess in the long front and rear facades at the point of transition from the business to residential section. The farmhouse has a half-hipped roof with a staggered roof edge, partly covered with thatch and freshly improved Dutch tiles. Six- and four-pane sash windows with shutters in the residential section and stable windows in the business section. Front door with arched fanlight and geometric glazing bars. Structural work consists of machine-made brick laid in flemish bond. The layout of the residential house has remained virtually unchanged.
Valuation:
The farmhouse is of general importance for its cultural-historical value as a specimen of the renewal of farmhouse construction with simultaneous application of forms derived from tradition and as a reminder of the war operations around Mill and the subsequent reconstruction. The whole has architectural-historical value as an excellent example of the style of reconstruction farmhouses. It has been preserved intact and is relatively rare.
