Inleiding
In 1905 is in een bocht van de Buurtweg, even voorbij boerderij `Het Wildeland', een schaapskooi gebouwd. Voorheen stond op dezelfde plek ook een schaapskooi, vermoedelijk uit het begin van de negentiende eeuw. De schaapskooi is de enige kooi die overbleef van in totaal drie kooien langs de Buurtweg. De schaapskooi is in 1991 gerestaureerd.
Omschrijving
Een aan de Buurtweg staande SCHAAPSKOOI op vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond onder een aan beide zijden afgewolfd zadeldak, deels gedekt met Hollandse pannen en deels met riet (nok en kopse kanten). De gevels zijn in baksteen opgetrokken. De linkerzijgevel is bepleisterd.
In de afgeschuinde kopse kanten, die voorzien zijn van vlechtingen, zijn dubbele lattendeuren gezet die worden geflankeerd door stalvensters. Boven de dubbele deur bestaat de gevel uit horizontale gepotdekselde delen. In de rechter zijgevel bevinden zich twee getoogde vensters en op de middenas een lage lattendeur.
Waardering
De schaapskooi aan de Buurtweg is van cultuurhistorische waarde in relatie met de ontwikkelingsgeschiedenis van het gebied, alsmede van architectuurhistorische waarde als zeldzaam voorbeeld van een bouwtype. Tevens van ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het gebied Tuil.

In 1905 a sheep shelter was built in a bend of the Buurtweg, just beyond the farmhouse `Het Wildeland'. Previously a sheep shelter stood on the same spot, probably from the beginning of the nineteenth century. The sheep shelter is the only shelter that survived of a total of three shelters along the Buurtweg. The sheep shelter was restored in 1991.
Description
A SHEEP SHELTER standing on the Buurtweg on an almost rectangular floor plan under a gabled roof barrel-vaulted on both sides, partly covered with Dutch pantiles and partly with thatch (ridge and gable ends). The facades are constructed in brick. The left side facade is plastered.
In the chamfered gable ends, which are provided with wattling, double latticed doors are set which are flanked by stall windows. Above the double door the facade consists of horizontally pot-tiled sections. In the right side facade are two arched windows and on the central axis a low latticed door.
Valuation
The sheep shelter on the Buurtweg is of cultural-historical value in relation to the development history of the area, as well as of architectural-historical value as a rare example of a building type. Also of ensemble value as part of the Tuil area.
