Inleiding
Vrijstaand woonhuis gebouwd rond 1895 in een eclectische stijl. Aan de voorzijde een eenvoudige tuin van de weg afgescheiden door een eenvoudig smeed- en gietijzeren hekwerk.
Omschrijving
Asymmetrisch opgezet woonhuis van twee bouwlagen met een afgeknot schilddak belegd met zwarte tuile-du-nord pannen. Voorgevel opgebouwd met een brede plint voorzien van bossage, vlak pleisterwerk en geel metselwerk, opgaand metselwerk met speklagen, een cordonlijst en een brede kroonlijst met een fries van geglazuurde tegels. Het terugliggende gevelvlak heeft een hardstenen stoep naar een paneeldeur met sierroosters en een neo-renaissancistische deuromlijsting (pilasters, kroonlijst, pilasters met in- en uitzwenkende klauwstukken, kroonlijst en segmentboogvormig fronton met straal). Boven de deur een rechtgesloten venster onder een geprofileerde latei en segmentboogvormige hanekam (gele steen en gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen). Het vooruitspringende gedeelte bevat twee rondboogvensters voorzien van aanzet- en sluitstenen. De sluitstenen dragen tevens de bewerkte consoles van een rijk bewerkt hangend erker (in hout opgetrokken en voorzien van snijwerk, bovenlichten met glas-in-lood, uitkragende gootlijst met sierstukken en een inzwenkende zinken kap). Op de verdieping is het uitspringende gedeelte geaccentueerd door geel gemetselde hoekrisalieten. Boven de erker en de daklijst doorbrekend een dakkapel voorzien van eenvoudige klauwstukken.

Asymmetrically arranged dwelling house of two storeys with a truncated hipped roof covered with black tuile-du-nord tiles. Front facade constructed with a broad plinth provided with bossage, flat plasterwork and yellow brickwork, rising brickwork with sill courses, a belt course and a broad cornice with a frieze of glazed tiles. The recessed facade area has a hardstone step leading to a panelled door with decorative grilles and a neo-renaissance doorway surround (pilasters, cornice, pilasters with inswinging and outswinging claw pieces, cornice and segmental-arched pediment with radius). Above the door a straight-topped window under a profiled lintel and segmental-arched hanekam (yellow stone and plastered pointing and closing stones). The projecting section contains two arched windows provided with pointing and closing stones. The closing stones also carry the worked consoles of a richly worked hanging bay (constructed in wood and provided with carved work, fanlights with stained glass, projecting drip moulding with ornamental pieces and an inswinging zinc roof). On the upper storey the projecting section is accentuated by yellow-mortared corner risalites. Above the bay and the cornice breaking through a dormer provided with simple claw pieces.
