Inleiding
Nederlands hervormde KERK gebouwd in 1845 in sobere Waterstaatsstijl. Vermeldenswaardig is de oprijlaan met hoogopgaande linden.

Bakstenen zaalkerk van vier traveeën met driezijdige koorafsluiting, gedekt door een zadeldak belegd met zwart geglazuurde hollandse pannen. Symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel met centraal een dubbele (vernieuwde) houten deur met houten omlijsting; rondboog bovenlicht met houten roedeverdeling in straalvorm; rondvensters met decoratieve gietijzeren tracering; staafankers; windveren; de voorgevel afgesloten door opengewerkte spits met houten schacht, kroonlijst en inzwenkende met lei bedekte naald. Zijgevels en koorafsluiting met spaarvelden waarin spitsboogvensters respectievelijk deur met houten roedeverdeling met tracering; staafankers en gietijzeren goten.
Van het INTERIEUR is voornamelijk de oorspronkelijke hoofdindeling van belang met aan de oostkant een balkon en aan de westkant een hangende preekstoel.
Orgel oorspronkelijk gebouwd voor de Gereformeerde kerk te Marum door Mart Vermeulen in 1913. In 2012 in deze kerk geplaatst.

Brick hall church of four bays with three-sided choir closure, covered by a gabled roof clad with black-glazed Dutch tiles. Symmetrically arranged front facade with centrally a double (renewed) wooden door with wooden surround; round-arch fanlight with wooden glazing bars in radial form; circular windows with decorative cast-iron tracery; rod anchors; wind vanes; the front facade topped by openwork spire with wooden shaft, cornice and sloping slate-clad needle. Side facades and choir closure with spared panels containing pointed-arch windows respectively door with wooden glazing bars with tracery; rod anchors and cast-iron gutters.
Of the INTERIOR, primarily the original principal division is of importance with a balcony on the east side and a hanging pulpit on the west side.
Organ originally built for the Reformed church in Marum by Mart Vermeulen in 1913. Installed in this church in 2012.
