Omschrijving
MOESTUINMUUR. Uit verticale houten delen samengestelde muur, deels van een stenen onderdorpel voorzien, die de moestuin aan de noord-, oost-, west-, en deels zuidzijde rechthoekig begrenst. De muur wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een enkel enigszins schuin liggend deel afgesloten. De muur, die op de kaart van Jagtlust uit 1833 staat aangegeven, dateert waarschijnlijk uit 1824: de bouwdatum van de stenen druivenkas aan de noordzijde van de moestuin. De combinatie van materiaalsoort en ouderdom maakt deze muur bijzonder in Nederland (houten schuttingen komen ook voor op de buitenplaatsen Den Berg (Dalfsen) en Schatzenburg (Dronrijp).

Description
KITCHEN GARDEN WALL. Wall composed of vertical wooden components, partly provided with a stone plinth, which bounds the kitchen garden on the north, east, west, and partially south sides in a rectangular manner. The wall is finished at the top with a single component lying somewhat sloped. The wall, which is indicated on the 1833 map of Jagtlust, probably dates from 1824: the construction date of the stone grape house on the north side of the kitchen garden. The combination of material type and age makes this wall exceptional in the Netherlands (wooden fences also occur on the country estates Den Berg (Dalfsen) and Schatzenburg (Dronrijp)).
