Perrongebouw B.
Midden op het langgerekte eilandperron gesitueerd perrongebouw B, in oorsprong bestemd als wacht- en restauratieruimte voor het reizend publiek (1e en 2e klasse) en uitgevoerd in rijke neo- Renaissancetrant onder flauwhellend schilddak, doch in 1989 door brand getroffen en nadien met zoveel mogelijk behoud van de oorspronkelijke onderdelen hersteld.
De lange gevels tellen negentien traveeën en zijn van zij- en middenrisalieten voorzien, alsook van rusticawerk, natuurstenen banden en geprofileerde rondbogen, rozetten en acanthusvoluten; de van Toscaanse pilasters voorziene risalieten bevatten telkens een stel dubbele deuren met halfrond, onderverdeeld bovenlicht in het midden en een recht afgesloten venster met drieledige onderverdeling te weerszijden en worden bekroond door een gebeeldhouwd fronton waarin het gevleugeld wiel-embleem; boven de zijvensters telkens een reliëf met handels-, landbouw- en ambachtelijke attributen; in het midden te weerszijden van de ingang twee plaquettes met respectievelijk ANNO en 1888.
De drie traveeen brede kopgevels zijn in dezelfde trant als de zijrisalieten uitgevoerd, waarbij de frontons van een verguld stadswapen zijn voorzien.
De langgerekte kap had in oorsprong enkele lichtkappen en een boogvormige steekkap overdwars aansluitend op de dwarskap met lantaarn in de perronoverkapping.
Complex-onderdeel van belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarden.

Description
Platform Building B.
Situated in the middle of the elongated island platform, platform building B, originally intended as waiting and refreshment room for travelling passengers (1st and 2nd class) and executed in rich Neo-Renaissance style under slightly pitched hipped roof, but in 1989 damaged by fire and subsequently restored with as much retention as possible of the original components.
The long facades comprise nineteen bays and are provided with side and central risalits, as well as rusticated work, natural stone bands and profiled round arches, rosettes and acanthus scrolls; the risalits provided with Tuscan pilasters contain each a set of double doors with semi-circular, subdivided fanlight in the middle and a straight-topped window with three-part glazing bars on either side and are crowned by a carved pediment in which the winged wheel emblem; above the side windows each a relief with commercial, agricultural and craft attributes; in the middle on either side of the entrance two plaques with respectively ANNO and 1888.
The three-bay wide gable facades are executed in the same style as the side risalits, the pediments being provided with a gilt city coat of arms.
The elongated roof originally had some roof lights and a transverse arched strut roof adjoining the cross roof with lantern in the platform roof covering.
Complex component of importance on account of architectural and cultural-historical values.
