Perrongebouw A.
Op het langgerekte eilandperron aan de Leidse zijde gesitueerd perrongebouw A, bestemd als dienstgebouw en uitgevoerd in neo-Renaissance-trant onder flauwhellend schilddak. De lange gevels tellen negen traveeën, met telkens dubbele deuren met boogramen waarboven een gebeeldhouwd fries met afwisselend een festoen of een open fronton, in het midden een fronton met Rijkswapen. De kopgevel aan Leidse zijde heeft drie dubbele deuren met rondbogen waarboven de segmentvormige kap aansluit, voorzien van gele glasstroken. De kopgevel aan Delftse zijde bevat drie negenruitsvensters waarboven respectievelijk een gebeeldhouwd fries met drukpers, een fronton met gepolychromeerd Rijkswapen en een fries met het gevleugeld wiel-embleem.
Complex-onderdeel van belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarden.

Description
Platform Building A.
Situated on the elongated island platform on the Leiden side, platform building A, intended as a service building and executed in Neo-Renaissance style under slightly pitched hipped roof. The long facades comprise nine bays, each with double doors with round-arched windows above which a carved frieze with alternately a festoon or an open pediment, in the middle a pediment with State coat of arms. The gable facade on the Leiden side has three double doors with round arches above which the segmental roof adjoins, provided with yellow glass strips. The gable facade on the Delft side contains three nine-pane windows above which respectively a carved frieze with printing press, a pediment with polychrome State coat of arms and a frieze with the winged wheel emblem.
Complex component of importance on account of architectural and cultural-historical values.
