WERKPLAATSGEBOUW behorende tot de gebouwen, gesitueerd aan de oostzijde van het terrein en oorspronkelijk bestemd voor werkplaatsen, kantoren en assistent-ingenieurswoning, die aan elkaar gebouwd zijn, doch zich onderscheiden door verschillen in bouwhoogte, detaillering en kapvorm; gemeenschappelijk is de toepassing van schuifvensters voorzien van met siermetselwerk gevulde boogtrommels, zoveel mogelijk twee aan twee gekoppeld, en de plaatsing van sierankers in de westgevels. Deze reeks gebouwen wordt eveneens van het park afgescheiden door een voetinghek met gemetselde pijlers.
Het werkplaatsengebouw telt twee verdiepingen onder schilddak met omlopende kroonlijst op klossen en beide lange zijden twee bakstenen dakkapellen met vleugelstukken en ijzeren hijsbalken, en een gebogen fronton met bollen en rondboogvormige vensters; de westgevel wordt door vijf door obelisken geaccentueerde pilasters verdeeld in vier ongelijke partijen van twee, resp. vijf vensterassen breedte; de vensters bezitten een eigentijdse roedenverdeling en een natuurstenen bovendorpel. De noord- en oostgevel zijn in vergelijkbare trant uitgevoerd.

Description
WORKSHOP BUILDING belonging to the buildings, situated on the east side of the site and originally intended for workshops, offices and assistant engineer's dwelling, which are built together, but distinguished by differences in building height, detailing and roof form; common to all is the use of sash windows provided with arch drums filled with ornamental brickwork, coupled together as much as possible two by two, and the placement of ornamental wall anchors in the west gables. This series of buildings is likewise separated from the park by a footpath fence with masonry piers.
The workshop building has two storeys under a hipped roof with running cornice on corbels and on both long sides two brick roof dormers with wing pieces and iron hoisting beams, and a curved pediment with spheres and round-arched windows; the west gable is divided by five obelisk-accentuated pilasters into four unequal sections of two, respectively five window bays width; the windows possess contemporary glazing bars and a natural stone lintel. The north and east gables are executed in comparable manner.
