Omschrijving
INGENIEURSWONING. De voormalige ingenieurswoning, vrijstaand gesitueerd aan de oostzijde van het terrein nabij de ingang, is met verdieping opgetrokken onder samenstel van pannen zadeldaken, voorzien van omlopende kroonlijst op klossen; de T-vensters van verschillende breedte, worden bekroond door een getoogde boogtrommel met siermetselwerkvulling; de westgevel bevat verder in het midden de hoofdingang met stoep en door een colonnet ondersteunde overhuiving die op de verdieping als balcon is ingericht, de rechterhelft is naar voren uitgebouwd en wordt bekroond door een topgevel met gebogen fronton met schelp en trappen in de overigens schuine zijden, voorzien van obelisken; de verdiepingvensters worden door frontons bekroond en bevatten voorts een balcon met balustrade gesteund door consoles; links is een dakkapel voorzien van fronton met schelp aangebracht, terwijl de noordoosthoek is afgeschuind; de noordgevel bezit eveneens een toegang, met stoep en luifel, in het midden, en een sprong halverwege de gevelbreedte; de oostgevel bevat rechts een erker en een topgevel met jaartalopschrift 1885; de zuidgevel vertoont diverse sprongen en wordt rechts bekroond door een dakkapel met fronton met schelp. Description
ENGINEER'S DWELLING. The former engineer's dwelling, situated detached on the east side of the site near the entrance, is erected with storey under an assembly of tiled gabled roofs, provided with continuous cornice on corbels; the T-windows of varying width are crowned by an arched architrave with decorative masonry filling; the west facade further contains in the middle the main entrance with step and an overhang supported by a small column which on the storey is arranged as a balcony, the right half is projected forward and is crowned by a gable with curved pediment with shell and steps in the otherwise sloping sides, provided with obelisks; the storey windows are crowned by pediments and further contain a balcony with balustrade supported by consoles; on the left a roof dormer with pediment with shell is provided, while the north-east corner is chamfered; the north facade likewise has an entrance, with step and canopy, in the middle, and a break halfway along the facade width; the east facade contains on the right an oriel and a gable with date inscription 1885; the south facade shows various breaks and is on the right crowned by a roof dormer with pediment with shell. The house is surrounded on street and park side by a foot-rail fence with masonry piers.
