Omschrijving
Uit 1853-1854 daterende, ronde, conische, bakstenen vuurtoren op hardstenen plint, naar ontwerp van H.G.Jansen met medewerking van D. van Gessel en N.J.Leijer. De toren is 29.10 m. hoog, is gedemonteerd en oorspronkelijk niet beschilderd en heeft 8 etages. Het bovenste deel heeft een bekleding met giet- of plaatijzer, waarin een reeks vensters. Boven de hardstenen dekplaat annex omloop een ijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel. Een met hardsteen omlijste toegangsdeur met halfrond bovenlicht. Boven de deur een gedenkplaat. In de toren enige ronde vensters. Hardstenen tegelvloeren, gedragen door welijzeren vloerbalken. Gietijzeren trappen.

Dating from 1853-1854, round, conical, brick lighthouse on a sandstone plinth, designed by H.G.Jansen with the collaboration of D. van Gessel and N.J.Leijer. The tower is 29.10 m. high, is dismantled and originally unpainted and has 8 storeys. The upper part has a covering of cast or wrought iron, in which a series of windows. Above the sandstone roof plate and walkway an iron lantern room with copper dome. An entrance door lined with sandstone with segmental fanlight. Above the door a memorial plaque. In the tower several round windows. Sandstone tile floors, carried by wrought-iron floor beams. Cast-iron stairs.
