Omschrijving
In de stadsuitleg naar ontwerp van Thomas Romein rond 1870 ontstaan twee bouwlagen tellend blokvormig pand onder leien gedekt afgeknot schilddak; witgepleisterd en gedeeltelijk voorzien van getrokken voegen; de gevelvelden verticaal en horizontaal geleed door respectievelijk verdiepte pilasters met sierknop en waterlijsten; getoogde T-vensters in stucomlijsting op gestucte gesneden consoles, met en zonder kuif.
De voorgevel uitgerust met grote erker, waarboven balkon met op gietijzeren zuiltjes met kapiteel rustende overhuiving; smeedijzeren balkonhek en dito consoles.
Gekorniste kroonlijst met tandlijst, fries met verdiepte velden en knoppen en uitstekende gootlijst op klossen. Inwendig aardig trappehuis en stuc-decoraties. Voor het huis eenvoudige gietijzeren hek.

Description
In the urban extension designed by Thomas Romein around 1870 created blocky building of two storeys under slate-clad truncated hipped roof; white-plastered and partly provided with struck joints; the facade fields articulated vertically and horizontally by respectively recessed pilasters with ornamental knob and drip mouldings; arched T-windows in stucco frames on sculpted stucco consoles, with and without hood.
The front facade equipped with large bay window, above which balcony with canopy resting on cast-iron columns with capitals; wrought-iron balcony railing and likewise consoles.
Cornice with dentil course, frieze with recessed fields and knobs and projecting drip moulding on brackets. Interior has attractive staircase and stucco decorations. In front of the house simple cast-iron railing.
