In de stadsuitleg naar ontwerp van Thomas Romein rond 1870 ontstaan twee bouwlagen tellend blokvormig pand onder pannengedekt afgeknot schilddak; gepleisterde plint. In de door geblokte en verdiepte pilasters afgezette gevel getoogde ingang met bovenlicht in risaliet en getoogde T-vensters met bescheiden stuc-omlijsting; gekorniste kroonlijst op de scheiding der bouwlagen en langs de dakvoet; goot op consoles. Voor het huis eenvoudig gietijzeren hek.

Description
Arising in the urban development according to the design of Thomas Romein around 1870, a two-storey block-shaped building under a tile-covered hipped roof; plastered plinth. In the facade marked off by blocked and recessed pilasters, a round-arched entrance with fanlight in a projection and round-arched T-windows with modest stucco framing; moulded cornice on the division of the storeys and along the roof edge; gutter on consoles. In front of the house a simple cast-iron gate.
