Voormalige, in 1865 gebouwd gymnasium; neo-classicistisch, blokvormig pand met verdieping onder met leien gedekt omlopend schilddak; 5 vensterassen brede, gebosseerde hardstenen voorgevel met cordonlijsten, met 8-ruits schuiframen en dubbele deur met bovenlicht en afgesloten door forse kroonlijst met tandlijst; zij- en achtergevel(s) in schoon metselwerk met 8-ruits (schuif) ramen en in de zuidgevel 12-ruits schuiframen; tegen de zuidgevel een lagere aanbouw met verdieping onder met leien gedekt schilddak en voorzien van 6-ruits schuiframen.
Inwendig: aan de noordzijde van de centrale gang een ruime bordestrap met gietijzeren balusters. Achter het pand een 19e eeuwse, gedeeltelijk open houten loods onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak rustend op houten pijlers met gesneden korbelen en opengewerkte houten lijsten onderlangs de goten.

Description
Former gymnasium built in 1865; neo-classical, block-shaped building with storey under with slate-covered surrounding hipped roof; 5 window-axis wide, bossed hard stone front facade with cordon mouldings, with 8-pane sash windows and double door with fanlight and terminated by substantial cornice with tooth moulding; side and rear facade(s) in fine brickwork with 8-pane (sash) windows and in the south facade 12-pane sash windows; against the south facade a lower annexe with storey under with slate-covered hipped roof and provided with 6-pane sash windows.
Internally: on the north side of the central corridor a spacious staircase with cast-iron balusters. Behind the building a 19th-century, partly open wooden shed under with blue Dutch tiles covered hipped roof resting on wooden piers with carved corbels and open-worked wooden mouldings along the gutters.
