Omschrijving
H. Brigidakerk. 1889-1891 Ch. Weber. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek met klaverbladvormige oostpartij, gedomineerd door een massale koepeltoren boven de achthoekige kruising.
Hoge torens aan weerszijden van de voorgevel. Grotendeels in baksteen uitgevoerde interpretatie van de 13e eeuwse romano-gotiek.
Pijlers met geringde kolonnetten, kruisribgewelven en uitbundige toepassing van baksteen in verschillende kleuren. Belangrijk werk uit Webers tweede periode. Orgel uit 1894-96 in twee delen ter weerszijden van het rozetvenster opgesteld. De orgelkas werd vervaardigd door J. Custers, het instrument door F.C. Smits jr. Smits maakte gebruik van het oude instrument uit de vorige kerk, dat in 1849 was gemaakt door J.J. Vollebregt. In 1927 werd het orgel gepneumatiseerd door Valckx en Van Kouteren. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Eijsbouts, 1943, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

H. Brigida Church. 1889-1891 Ch. Weber. Three-aisle cruciform basilica with trefoil-shaped east section, dominated by a massive dome tower above the octagonal crossing.
Lofty towers on either side of the front gable. Largely brick-executed interpretation of 13th century Romanesque-Gothic.
Pilasters with ringed colonnettes, rib vaults and lavish use of brickwork in different colours. Important work from Weber's second period. Organ from 1894-96 arranged in two sections on either side of the rose window. The organ case was manufactured by J. Custers, the instrument by F.C. Smits jr. Smits made use of the old instrument from the previous church, which had been made in 1849 by J.J. Vollebregt. In 1927 the organ was pneumatized by Valckx and Van Kouteren. Mechanical tower clock, Eijsbouts, 1943, has been put out of service.
