Omschrijving
Kasteel Geldrop. Omgracht gebouw, bestaande uit een middenpaviljoen (1616, blijkens ankers) met een zadeldak tussen trapgevels, geflankeerd door latere aanbouwsels, waarvan de linkervleugel op oude grondslagen rust.
Rechts de onderbouw van een toren. De middenvleugel is onderkelderd en heeft door segmentbogen overtoogde vensters.
In de westmuur van de westvleugel een wapenschild van Adriaen van Sprangh (1769). Inwendig: deur (1616) met gesneden bovendorpel waarop het wapen Hoorne, en een 18e eeuwse schouw.

Description
Geldrop Castle. Moated building, consisting of a central pavilion (1616, evidenced by wall anchors) with a gabled roof between stepped gables, flanked by later extensions, of which the left wing rests on old foundations.
On the right the base of a tower. The central wing is undercellared and has windows spanned by segment arches.
In the west wall of the west wing a coat of arms of Adriaen van Sprangh (1769). Interior: door (1616) with carved lintel on which the coat of arms Hoorne, and an 18th century fireplace.
