The National Monuments Service's description
On summit of N-S ridge, at N end, under pasture. The hill slopes steeply to the N and gently to the E and W. According to Power (1908, 31) 'On the hill was a cill in which human skulls were found'. The tradition of a burial place on the hill still remains. The ‘cill’ or burial ground is probably within the enclosure (TS082-033001-) on the summit of the hill. The summit encompasses a stony, roughly circular raised area (c. 35m N-S) which is probably where the enclosure stood.
