The National Monuments Service's description
On summit of N-S ridge, at N end, under pasture. The hill slopes steeply to the N and gently to the E and W. The field boundary to S has been removed and there is a post and wire fence roughly in its place. The field boundary to the SW has been removed. Loughlohery tower house (TS082-004----) is visible to the NNW. A ringfort (TS082-022----) is visible near the summit of the hill to the N, enclosed by conifers. The enclosure is not visible above ground. The summit encompasses a stony, roughly circular raised area (c. 35m N-S) which may be where the enclosure stood. According to Power (1908, 31) 'On the hill was a cill in which human skulls were found'. The tradition of a burial place (TS082-033002-) on the hill still remains.
