The National Monuments Service's description

Surveyed by ADS in 2006 and described as measuring in width 0.75-197m, depth 0.11-0.17m, length 25m. Described by Whitaker (2006, 75) as ‘this possible togher was visible at two sightings that were recorded on the field surface of opposing fields on the north side of Littleton Bog, in proximity to other sites. It was orientated northwest-southeast and was composed of transversely laid heavy brushwood elements. TI-LTNO16a, 223590, 159222, Width 0.75m, Depth 0.17m. This sighting was located at the northwestern end of this possible togher, approximately 17m north of TI- LTNO17a. It was exposed in the drain face, 0.21m below the field surface. It was composed of regularly laid transverse brushwood elements, all of which orientated northeast-southwest. The wood was in a moderate state of preservation, with some bark remaining on some of the elements. The elements were moderately densely packed and measured 0.01 to 0.04m in diameter’.
