The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a break on the NW-facing slopes of Miskish Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.8m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.1-0.5m) revetted internally by upright contiguous slabs (H 0.6m) which are best preserved SE-W. The entrance (Wth 0.6m) is indicated by two upright stones at the NE. The level interior is raised (H 0.45m) at NW and cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope at the SE to compensate for the hillslope. There is an enclosure (CO114-073001-) c. 30m to the NE.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
