The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the NW-facing slopes of Miskish Mountain and overlooking Coulagh Bay. An irregularly shaped area (c. 100m NW-SE; c. 90m NE-SW) is defined by the face of a large stretch of outcropping rock at SE and elsewhere by the lower courses of a largely collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.5m) most of which protrudes from shallow bog. Many stones are set upright at right angles to the line of the wall. There is a hut site (CO114-073002-) c. 30m to the SW.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
