The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the S side of a sheltered W-facing hollow to the W of the summit of Miskish Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (3.3m N-S; 3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 0.6m; H 0.4m) from which occasional stones protrude. Some stones are scattered in the interior and the function of a box-like stone structure (L 1.3m; Wth 0.8m; H 0.3m) in the W quadrant is unclear. The interior is raised (H 0.8m) by horizontally laid stones along the NW arc to compensate for the slope. Another hut site (CO114-074002-) is c. 30m to the W.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
