The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the S side of a sheltered W-facing hollow to the W of the summit of Miskish Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.2m) defined by the base of a stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.3m) SW-NE and by the face of a cutaway bank NE-SW. The interior has been raised (H 0.35m) at the N and cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (CO114-074001-) adjoins this hut site at the W.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
