The National Monuments Service's description

In a low-lying damp area of mixed rough pasture and woodland, with a small stream to SSE, and higher ground N-E-SE. Reported separately by Tom Coffey and Donncha Ó Dúlaing (SMR file). Listed in the RMP (1996) as one of several ‘fulachta fiadh’ in this vicinity (including CL010-124----, CL010-124002- and CL010-124004-). This small, low crescent-shaped fulacht fia (5.5m E-W; 4m N-S; H 0.5-0.6m) is open to the N and is composed of burnt stone (with one set stone at the NE), partly enclosing a central area (2m N-S; 1.4m E-W; D 0.4m). There are two other fulachtaí fia very close by; one (CL010-124002-) 14m to the NW and the second (CL010-124----) c. 35m to the NW. A third fulacht fia (CL010-124004-) lies c. 155m to the SE.
