The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying rough pasture and overgrowth with wet ground immediately W-NE, and higher rocky ground N-E-SE. Reported separately by Tom Coffey and Donncha Ó Dúlaing (SMR file). Listed in the RMP (1996) as one of several ‘Fulachta fiadh’ in this vicinity (including CL010-124----, CL010-124003- and CL010-124004-). This subcircular fulacht fia (int. dims. 6m N-S; 6m E-W; ext. dims. 14m E-W; 12.5m N-S; H) is defined by a grass-covered bank (Wth 1.3-4m) of burnt stone and ash which is highest (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.8m) S-W. The bank has inner and outer facing stones; up to 0.45m high (S-SW) and 0.8m (at NW) respectively, and numerous slabs in the interior appear to be displaced from the inner facing. There are two other fulachtaí fia very close by; one (CL010-124----) 27m to the NW and the second (CL010-124003-) c. 14m to the SE. A third fulacht fia (CL010-124004-) lies c. 165m to the SE.
