Historique
Le château, élevé de 1749 à 1764, est caractéristique des gentilhommières limagniaises du 18ème siècle : corps allongé, avant-corps central à porte cintrée, encadrements de baies et chaînes d'angle en pierre de Volvic, combles brisés percés de lucarnes et couvrement en tuiles plates et tuiles rondes. A l'intérieur, une vaste cage d'escalier circulaire est surmontée d'un dôme polygonal. Les différentes pièces ont conservé intacts leurs aménagements et décors des 18ème et 19ème siècles : sols en dalles de Volvic, plafonds à solives, cheminées en marbre, parquets en damier... Au 19ème siècle, le parc a évolué en parc paysager comportant un certain nombre d'arbres remarquables.

History
The château, erected from 1749 to 1764, is characteristic of the modest country houses of Limagny from the 18th century: elongated body, central avant-corps with round-headed door, framings of openings and angle chains in Volvic stone, broken roof spaces pierced by dormers and roofing in flat tiles and round tiles. Inside, a vast circular stairwell is surmounted by a polygonal dome. The various rooms have retained intact their arrangements and decorations from the 18th and 19th centuries: floors in Volvic slabs, ceilings with beams, marble fireplaces, parquetry in chequerboard pattern...
