Le château actuel a remplacé, sous la fin de l'ancien régime, une construction féodale alors en partie ruinée qui existait déjà en 1245. La demeure actuelle s'est inspirée de Bagatelle et aurait été élevée par l'architecte Bélanger. C'est une construction de plan rectangulaire avec un hémicycle en saillie sur sa façade ouest. Le milieu de la façade sud est occupé par un avant-corps en légère saillie, limité de chaque côté par un pilastre à chapiteau ionique à guirlandes supportant une architrave formant l'auvent du balcon à balustrade. Le balcon est porté par deux colonnes galbées à chapiteaux ioniques à guirlandes. A l'intérieur, le décor et le mobilier d'époque ont été intégralement conservés.

History
The present château replaced, at the end of the old regime, a feudal construction then partly ruined which already existed in 1245. The present dwelling was inspired by Bagatelle and is said to have been erected by the architect Bélanger. It is a construction of rectangular plan with a hemicycle projecting on its west facade. The middle of the south facade is occupied by a forward section in slight projection, limited on each side by a pilaster with Ionic capital with garlands supporting an architrave forming the awning of the balcony with balustrade. The balcony is supported by two fluted columns with Ionic capitals with garlands. Inside, the decoration and period furnishings have been entirely preserved.
